As this data shows, over 70% of grant recipients felt more positively toward their employer and less stressed or worried overall. These grants also provided many other individuals the breathing room to figure out what to do next, helped individuals to be able to better focus on their work, and allowed them to pay their bills on time, in addition to many other benefits.
All of the sentiments illustrated in these results show the impact that relief fund grants have on the lives of grant recipients. Providing financial assistance to these individuals during trying times allows them to feel better about their ability to handle their situation, and ultimately helps them get back on their feet.
"I unexpectedly had to take a month off from work to help my daughter, who in the hospital with septic shock. She was not able to use her arms or legs for the first 3 weeks, and I needed to be there by her side in order to alert hospital staff if she needed additional help that I could not provide myself. Because of this, I fell behind a month on my rent and had to order out for most of my meals, which ended up costing more than my budget allowed. My landlord allowed me to stay in the house knowing I was applying for assistance through my employer and understanding the dilemma I was in. I would like to thank those that donated to this relief fund. It enabled a fellow employee in a time a dire need to stay positive and get back on track."
"Unable to pay for main pipe break in basement due to financial hardship from leaving a domestic relationship. It has helped me to fix the main sewer line in my residence while I am able to get bills caught back up and other small things in the residence fixed or replaced that were broke during the domestic situation. It is beneficial in helping others in time of need to help get back on their feet when facing a financial hardship. Thank you to all that have donated, you have no idea how much this has helped and impacted my life to know that there are people out there that care so much to help people who are struggling to get back on their feet and are hit with a major hardship of some kind. Thank you so much for your kindness and generosity. You are all appreciated so much!!"
