APRIL CASE

Relief Fund Senior Advisor

April joins the Emergency Assistance Foundation with over 15 years of experience in nonprofit leadership. A servant leader at heart, she has guided high-impact programs at nationally respected organizations including Breakthrough T1D (formerly JDRF) and the Muscular Dystrophy Association.

Most recently, April designed and built DICK’S Sporting Goods’ only 501(c)(3) public nonprofit – the Teammate Relief Fund - dedicated to supporting teammates during times of personal hardship. In this role, she led the fund’s strategic growth and day-to-day operations, overseeing the full grantmaking lifecycle, enterprise and executive fundraising, and targeted communication strategies.

As a Relief Fund Senior Advisor, April is excited to share her expertise and support organizations as they strengthen and enhance their own employee relief programs.
