Since our inception, Emergency Assistance Foundation has helped people navigate moments of crisis with compassion and care. Our Social Responsibility strategy ensures the same commitment guides our internal operations as we support more than 350 relief funds worldwide.

EAF Cares.

Our mission is to help individuals in the aftermath of disasters and hardships, and that starts within our own community. In addition to the 350+ relief funds we administer that are sponsored by other organizations, EAF maintains the EAF Cares Fund, which supports our own team members in the aftermath of unforeseen disasters or personal hardships.

To date, the EAF Cares Fund has awarded over $98,000 in grants to EAF contractors and employees during challenging times.

 

Community engagement activities.

We incorporate community engagement activities into our larger gatherings, such as a recent partnership with a United Way chapter to package hundreds of emergency kits for Jewish Family Services and Coalition for The Homeless.

Integrity

  • We ensure every donor dollar is handled with professional care.
  • Our all-volunteer Board of Directors, which consists of Fund Partner representatives (from organizations that sponsor the funds we administer) and independent business professionals, provides oversight of our organizational strategy and finances.
  • We undergo annual SOC2 audits and utilize tools that help us monitor our data security and 3rd party vendors.
  • We maintain a Whistleblower Protection Policy and participate in an IRS Form 990 Annual Information Return to ensure financial transparency.
